Onsite Restaurant

On site you will find a restaurant open every evening except Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Traditional Thai food is the norm but for the 10 in 10 the chef will cater for runners tastes with plenty of protein and carbs and some great puds too! 

She will offer several options each evening such as Chicken & Chips,  Sausage & Mash, Pasta Bolognaise, Hunters Chicken or of course you could request a Pad Thai, Stir Fry or Crying Tiger.

The Village Pubs

The Three Horseshoes Great food at a great price too.  Beer garden and dog friendly. This pub is less than half a mile from the campsite, easily walkable in about 10 minutes, just take a torch at night for the return journey.   Opening hours can vary from season to season so always best to book. Call 01284 811467 or find them on Facebook. 

The Weeping Willow is in the heart of the village and you will need to book for a meal here.  A 16th century pub restored to modern decadance with a lovely garden to sit in the summer and sample the variety of gins available!  They are also dog friendly.  www.theweepingwillow.co.uk

 

Farm Shops and Convenience Stores

In the centre of the village you will find two convenience stores where you will find almost anything.  The closest supermarkets are in Bury St Edmunds, Tesco at junction 43 and Sainsburys at junction 44 of the A14.    Looking for a farm shop and local butchers for BBQ meat?
